A mobile phone company has released toilet paper for your smartphone.

Docomo, Japan’s largest mobile operator, have installed smartphone toilet paper dispensers in 86 toilet cubicles at Narita International Airport’s arrival terminal, The Telegraph UK reported.

The idea was in response to findings that smartphone screens carry more than five times the amount of germs of a toilet seat.

It looks like a mini toilet roll and bears the message ‘Welcome to Japan’, but the sheets also contain WiFi details and other useful travel information.

Docomo also published a light-hearted video demonstrating how to use the sheets – along with other information to help visitors get to grips with Japan’s hi-tech public toilets.

The sheets also contain useful travel information.
