Is it a surprise really?

Last night at the Vodafone New Zealand Music awards Lorde took out 6 categories (every award she was nominated for).

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern joined in on the hype and presenting the award for People’s Choice. Lorde appeared genuinely stunned as the prime minister came on stage, alongside satirist Tom Sanisbury. “I can’t believe you’re at the New Zealand Music Awards, this is like a big deal,” she said. Ardern said they must be “mutual fan girls”. CUUUUTE!

An awesome humble moment from the Prime Minister on the red carpet was when asked where her outfit was from she revealed her jacket was actually from Savemart Hastings! What a score.
