The auction site Graysonline has listed items from the former Dunedin Cadbury site, which closed its doors at Easter time.
Plant manager Judith Mair said the online auction was for the last remaining pieces of small scale office and manufacturing equipment at the site.
Items include a “portable chocolate floor pump with motor”, “emergency eyewash/showers”, and a Bedford van.
The auction included few items of “historic memorabilia”, with local museums and libraries declining some of the offered items, she said. The company is also in talks with the hospital to donate some of its artworks and with local Dunedin charities and organisations about retaining memorabilia.
The auction begins later this month, with pick-up only from Dunedin and some lots can be inspected through special tours.
