The private jet of once superstar Elvis Presley can now be all yours. But don’t be fooled, it probably won’t be taking your around the world anytime soon.
A red 1962 Lockheed Jetstar once owned by The King is going on auction despite having only been brought by a new owner last year for US$430,000 (NZ$620,160), AAP reported.
Auction site IronPlanet announced this week it’s going on sale again.
The retro aircraft won’t be taking you anywhere however, as it has no engine and requires a full restoration of its cockpit. In fact it hasn’t moved for 36 years and has been rusting away on a tarmac in Roswell, New Mexico.
