Taupō needs more helpers to raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ during its Pink Ribbon Appeal next month.
Taupō coordinator Raewyn Andrew said they wanted people who could make the day fun, be enthusiastic about the cause, have sense of humour and a smile.
“We want to fight breast cancer for all New Zealand women… statistics show nine NZ women are diagnosed each week with breast cancer.”
All donations goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
The foundation supports those with breast cancer and funds education, research and technology.
“Brighten up your site by wearing pink,” Andrew said.
People would be provided with pink buckets – one for donations and one with information.
To take part register online at pinkribbonvolunteer.co.nz or ring The Breast Cancer Line on 0508105105
