You might have heard that McDonald’s UK has scrapped the Caramel and Strawberry ice-cream toppings from its menu and panicked.
But it appears the sweet treats are safe for now in Aotearoa.
McDonald’s NZ communications manager Simon Kenny told Stuff on Monday the chain had no plans to remove the strawberry and caramel toppings from its sundae menu.
The flavours disappeared without warning from McDonald’s UK’s menu late last month, leaving customers with chocolate topping as their only choice for sundaes.
Hi Emma, sorry about that. The Toffee Sundae and Strawberry Sundae were removed from the McDonald’s menu on Wednesday 26th September 2018, and they were removed because they weren’t very popular.
