KNOW YOUR STUFF
‘KnowYourStuffNZ is a grassroots peer lead organisation that addresses the lack of factual, proven information available to drug users about the substance they intend to take by providing drug checking and drug related information at festivals and events. Our aim is Harm reduction.
The use of FTIR (infra-red spectroscopy) gives us an idea of what’s in the substance, then the clients gets an awesome open harm reduction conversation so they can make their own informed decisions on their drug use.
Becoming legal in 2021 allowed us to widen our reach to more regions, and support other peer led organisations to test within their communities”
