Whanganui City Bridge will be closed overnight between 6 pm to 6 am, each day through until March 7th
The temporary closure will allow the New Zealand Transport Agency – Waka Kotahi, to make road repairs at the Anzac Parade / Putiki Drive SH 4 intersection that leads onto the City Bridge
Traffic management will be in place in affected areas along the route –Â delays are possible.
All heavy vehicles MUST use the Cobham (Motorway) Bridge as the detour route during the period of closure
Other traffic can use either the Cobham (Motorway) Bridge or Dublin St Bridge.
If the weather becomes unsuitable for the work crew, then work will be moved to the next fine night.
