Local Company Kaitahi takes the Win at Foodstarter
Wanganui based Kaitahi As One (Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Iwi) are based on a social ecological entrepreneurship model which recognises and captures value through enterprises where people and nature matter.
Their Frozen Superfood Smoothy Drops combine nutritious fruit and vegetables with traditional Māori ingredients such as pūha and kawakawa. Designed to make healthy living easier, you just combine the frozen drops with liquid and shake – no blender required!

Out of 217 entries, Kaitahi made it into the final 10. From there Arohaina and the Kaitahi team battled it out with a Shark Tank-style pitch on Thursday night.
As a result of the WIN Kaitahi will be stocked in New World supermarkets nationwide and will receive marketing support.
