Covid-19 Testing:

TAIHAPE

Taihape CBAC at Taihape Health is now closed. People with flu like symptoms can still be tested via the general practice. Please let reception staff know if you have symptoms such as cough, sore throat, or fever when you telephone to make an appointment. Patients with symptoms will be asked to wait in their car. A nurse will come out and assess you. A Covid-19 swab can be carried out in the car. If a fuller examination is required then you will be asked to come in via the rear entrance of the practice.

Rubbish and Recycling:

Rangitīkei District Council utilises contractors to remove rubbish from Council owned Transfer Stations. Most Transfer Stations will resume normal operations under their normal hours. Under Alert Level 3 facilities are not able to carry out sorting of recyclables, so all recycling will remain mixed and go to landfill, so if possible please continue to stockpile clean recycling. There will be limitations on the number of vehicles allowed at each site to allow for social distancing protocols, so queues may be long to access the sites. Details on each Transfer Station are:
