Level 2 is here – Meaning once again we can hit the slopes of Mt Ruapehu!
A statement posted to the Mt Ruapehu Facebook page said: “At Alert Level 2, which we will move to tomorrow Wednesday 8 September, we are able to operate to a max capacity of 3,050 guests at Whakapapa and 2,550 guests at Tūroa”
The lowered capacity is in line with covid protocols.
“The team is working through what the new Alert Level 2 rule regarding internal and external capacity limits will mean for our cafés on mountain”
