This case should be commended for the steps he took following his departure from isolation. When he developed symptoms he contacted health line quickly and self isolated. Thanks to them for their quick thinking. Indicates are that so far their actions have prevented this from spreading furthers.
Neighbours have returned negative results. 86 passengers who were on the charter flights from Christchurch to Auckland are being contacted.
He may have been infected in India, or on the flight to Auckland or Christchurch. Genomic sequencing has linked it to two other cases from that flights. He also may have become infected in MIQ and CCTV is being reviewed. No possibility is being ruled out at this point.
