Whanganui District Council has announced that there will be a road closure at the Glasgow Street-London Street intersection on Sunday, 27 March 2022.
Powerco contractor Electrix will upgrade and relocate the power transformer at the intersection next to the Z Service Station.
A detour route will operate for traffic turning into Glasgow Street from London Street on Sunday, 27 March from 7.30am to 5.00pm to allow for the final phase of work to occur.
Northbound traffic will need to continue along London Street and turn right into Victoria Avenue – detour signs will be in place to show the alternative route.
