New Year 2021
Turn four days of leave into 10 days off.
New Year’s Day falls on a Friday, meaning you get a four-day weekend. Why not stretch this out into a 10-day break: get in quick to book off January 6-9
Waitangi Day
Turn one day of leave into 4 days off
Waitangi day falls on a Saturday this year, meaning Waitangi Day gives an additional long weekend. You could use one more day of leave to turn the weekend into four days.
Thats not all! If you live in Auckland or Nelson you’ll get a bonus day off due to the regional anniversary days, on Monday Feb 1
Easter Weekend
Good Friday, April 2 to Easter Monday is a great time of the year to spend up your leave. Don’t settle for that, take the week off from April 6-9 to make it a 10-day break.
If you live in Southland, Easter weekend aligns with Southland Anniversary on Tuesday, April 6, so you’d only have to use 3 days of leave instead.
Anzac Day
Turn one day of leave into four days off.
The Monday closest to Anzac Day turns into a public holiday – This year that falls on April 26th
Queen’s Birthday Weekend
Turn one day of leave into four days off.
Queen’s Birthday is being observed on Monday, June 7. The last public holiday for a wee while – so why not make the most of it? Take a four-day weekend from Friday, June 4 to treat yourself.
Labour Day
Turn one day of leave into four days off.
Take October 22 off ahead of Labour Day Monday and turn this sucker into another four-day weekend.
Christmas and New Year
Turn four days of leave into 12 days off.
Book Christmas Eve off for an extra-long Christmas weekend. Book the three days after that before New Year and New Year’s Eve, from December 29-31 and enjoy 2 weeks off
