Last week it was a rumor, this week it’s a reality!
To celebrate 20 years since the first Harry Potter film HBO has announced it’s currently working on the ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’
Bang! Showbiz reports that HBO explained the program will “tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new, in-depth interviews and cast conversations”.
It’s reported that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will join filmmaker Chris Columbus in the film special. However, there is no word on HP creator J.K Rowling making an appearance.
The reunion special is being executive produced by Casey Patterson of Casey Patterson Entertainment and is currently in production and is due to premiere on January 1, 2022, on HBO Max.
