Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern alongside Director-General of Health, Dr. Ashley Bloomfeild has announced all of New Zealand south of the Auckland Border will move to Alert Level 3 at 11:59 pm on Tuesday 31 August
Auckland and Northland will remain at Alert Level 4 until further notice.
Arden indicated it is likely that Auckland will stay at that level for a further two weeks.
70 new community cases were reported on Friday afternoon by the Ministry of Health bringing the outbreak to 347.
Of the 347 cases, 333 are in Auckland, and 14 are in Wellington.
