Climate change will impact the way we live our lives! Changes in extreme weather conditions are likely to create more and more problems for us and Horizons Regional Council want you to have your say.
Head to www.horizons.govt.nz – leave your comments and Horizons will take your feedback on board and use it to build a risk assessment so they, along with your town and district council, know where to focus their efforts. Maybe you’re worried about the effects of flooding on your daily work commute, water availability for the city, soil erosion or drought on your farm, or your family bach becoming unusable with rising sea levels – Horizons wants to hear it all!
