Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern announced on Monday in the post-cabinet press conference that Auckland will stay at Alert Level 3 for at least a further 2 weeks.

Arden acknowledged that further business support is needed, and noted that the Minister of Finance, Grant Robertson is working on an “enhanced business support package” and will make an announcement on Friday.
It was revealed that on Friday, a new alert level system will be announced. And on Wednesday, Education Minister, Chris Hipkins will announce when schools will open.
Waikato will stay at level 3, with a review on Friday and Northland will move to alert level 2 at 11:59pm on Tuesday.
